Dodgers move on, Cards head home

In what was suppose to be the year of the St. Louis Cardinals, the LA Dodgers are the ones moving on after a 5-1 victory at St. Louis. Things seem to be rolling for Joe Torre and team. They have home field advantage for their series against the Phillies/Rockies. We haven’t really seen or heard any much coverage about Torre taking on his old ball club. Would now expect that to change quickly.

  1. David Ortiz's Eyedrops says:

The postseason tends to expose teams’ weaknesses immediately. The Cards were favored for their 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation and a lineup headed by Albert Pujols and Matt Holliday, but their series showed that bad defense and having Ryan Franklin as a closer just wasn’t going to cut it for them. The Dodgers look really dangerous. I think they can go all the way.

  2. Should be two good playoff series. Yanks looks tough, it might be your year…
